Coronavirus Contingency Plan

In light of recent worldwide events and the continuing spread of the novel coronavirus some clients have expressed concern over what would happen should I be rendered incapable of work for a brief or extended period of time.

Luckily, as a digital worker who predominently works from home, I am well placed to follow social distancing protocol in my day to day life to reduce the risk of coming into contact with the coronavirus. In addition to that, I am taking the following precautions:

  • All face to face meetings to be cancelled for the foreseeable future – either to be replaced with conference calls or rescheduled at a later date
  • All non necessary travel and personal errands cancelled

Should I come into contact with the coronavirus despite my precautions and I am rendered unable to work for any period of time, all urgent work and critical maintenance will be entrusted to one of 3 trusted WordPress developers with similar experience to myself whom I know and trust. Emails and phone calls will be re-rerouted automatically, so contact methods will remain the same.

All non urgent work and minor maintenance tasks would be deferred and rescheduled as soon as I am well enough to complete them or outsourced at your request.

In case of emergency, continue to contact me on 07521056376 or via email: jt@jemturner.co.uk

Wishing my clients the very best of luck in the coming months.
