Broseley CofE Primary School

Broseley Church of England Primary School WordPress website

Broseley Primary website mock-up on Sony laptop

I approached Broseley Primary school after noticing that their existing website had some issues.

The website had been built with a premium WordPress drag and drop pagebuilder, but the result was a product that could not be edited within the school grounds because of limitations caused by the internal firewall and incredibly slow page load speeds.

I took the design that had been created for them, and redeveloped it into a lightweight bespoke theme that utilised the built-in WordPress Gutenberg editor instead of the proprietary drag and drop builder. I moved the website to UK based WordPress web-hosting and set up the site with an appropriate SSL certificate. I currently undertake WordPress maintenance for Broseley Primary.

The site is now faster, editable internally, and more accessible to all via a range of devices.

After having numerous difficulties with another website designer, we asked Jem to provide some assistance. Jem managed to overhaul our website and provide a user friendly site that we are thrilled with. She is extremely thorough, and knowledgeable – which gives us confidence that we are getting the best care for our site. She has provided support throughout challenging times when we have needed information to be readily available for parents. All we can say is, we are more than happy, and fully recommend Jem. If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

Why I love working with WordPress

I've been using WordPress since the heady days of version 1.2 and developing WordPress websites commercially since version 1.5 (released in 2005!)
