Hercules Gym Telford

Hercules Gym is an established free weights gym in Madeley, Telford. Offering serious training since 1995.

Steve approached me (while I was working out!) about updating the Hercules Gym website in early 2019. The existing Hercules Gym website was built using static HTML pages approximately 10 years earlier, making it difficult to update, and it wasn’t usable on tablets or mobile telephones.

I redesigned and rebuilt the Hercules Gym Telford website on WordPress, giving the gym an easy to use content management interface and fresh look. The site now works on multiple devices across many screen resolutions, and has seen a boost in search engine ranking for a variety of local and more generic keywords.

Hercules Gym were migrated to Clook Internet as part of the re-launch, including migration to https using their Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate support. In addition to this, the gym takes advantage of one of my monthly WordPress maintenance packages to keep the website and plugins up to date and secure.
