Little Oasis Pandy

Luxury glamping holidays in Abergavenny in beautifully restored gypsy wagons.

Little Oasis is a luxury glamping holiday site found by the villages of Pandy and Llanvihangel Crucorney, just 5 miles from Abergavenny in Wales. Home of Josie and Rosy, two lovingly restored bow top gypsy caravans, and Hanbury the ambulance carriage railway wagon.

Working with Emma, we created a bespoke design for her existing WordPress site which incorporated some of the beautiful photography from around the fabulous holiday location, using neutral and earthy colours in keeping with both the beautiful lands around Little Oasis and the photography itself.

The site incorporates custom form work, strong calls to action and large sliders on various pages to show off the stunning farmland surrounding the glamping caravans.

We totally, totally love it!

We needed a quick refresh of our website, which is heavily used by prospective and existing parents, staff and pupils. We needed to make sure that our site was flexible to appeal to all our end users and showcased our school. Working with Jem, I was able to quickly turn my thoughts into a brief, and then into a final product.

Jem clearly knows what she is doing with WordPress, and her work showcases her considerable knowledge and no nonsense approach. I intend to use her again, when required, and would recommend her to others looking for a developer who knows WordPress inside out.

We wanted to update our old website, Jem came highly recommended and I can see why. She had lots of great ideas and design skills, nothing was too much trouble, with very prompt replies to our emails. The end result blew me away, and I would recommend her web design services to anyone. 100% total satisfaction.

I can’t recommend Jem enough. She was, and still is, a total pleasure to work with. Patient, diligent and best of all, she didn’t blind me with “technical talk” which in itself was a blessing in disguise. She was amazing whilst the site was being built and since the launch has always been on hand if I have needed her. If you are thinking of working with her, all I will say is… “DO IT!”

I was close to giving up after 8 years as a blogger. No matter what I did or who I got to help me, the hacker was one step ahead. That is until I enlisted the help of Jem Turner who managed to rid my blog of hacks and give me the confidence to blog again.

Why I love working with WordPress

I've been using WordPress since the heady days of version 1.2 and developing WordPress websites commercially since version 1.5 (released in 2005!)
