The Supermums Craft Fair
The Supermums Craft Fair is an online craft fair open all year round without the need for muddy fields or draughty halls
Sarah was recommended my services in January 2013 by word of mouth. She quickly set about detailing her brief for The Supermums Craft Fair: an “all year round craft fair” — allowing users to “rent” a stall on the site to sell their custom crafted produce — and online craft business directory.
Sarah’s passion in her idea was massive, but her budget was small so we had to come up with a solution that wasn’t going to require thousands and thousands of pounds to turn into reality. I suggested we utilise the power of WordPress and some budget template web designs provided by Shropshire-based matm to create the bespoke marketplace system that would form the basis of her website.
The site was integrated with PayPal allowing customers to buy from the site with payments going directly to the seller.
The designs for the site were started in February 2013 and the site launched in May 2013.
